I heard the news from a bride I had meet with on Saturday. She and her fiancee had paid everything upfront. This is very sad to report. Brides will be losing any upfront money that had already paid to the venues. To read more about the story go to ABC 13.
On top of that, we are trying to recover from Hurricane Ike.
JTG STUDIO wants to help in this devastating time. Here is how it works.
Send me an email with:- A copy of your contract to verifying that you are a displaced bride of Tuscany of Garden Oaks or Bella Terraza
- Information of your new date (if applicable) and the new location
- A paragraph describing your personal situation
- A photo of you and your fiancee (important, so I can show you off on the blog
The following offer is based on my availability (and choice), I will offer one displaced 2008 bride:
- 6 hours of wedding day photography coverage
- one portrait session
- Online gallery
- Hi-res digital negatives on dvd
(Albums can be purchased if you like for an extra cost.)
The sooner your contact me the sooner I can make a decision. The lucky couple will be revealed at the end of October. If your wedding is in October, please stress that in the email.
If you know of a bride in this situation please let her know what so many Houston photographers are doing. There are plenty of photographers to go around and help this wedding community.
I encourage other Houston wedding vendors to extend a helping hand.
Here are a few of photographers that I know are doing something similar.

Eric from Serendipity Photography
Christine from Christine Tremoulet Photography
