B is for boudoir

I’ve had a lot of brides ask me if I do boudoir portraits, truth be told weddings will always be my first love.

Still I think these portraits are extra special. They capture the pure beauty of a woman. Not only are these photos a testament in time for your love, they are also one for you.

I love shooting weddings-two people feel in love and they want to live the rest of their lives together. Then I come in and I make her feel fabulous- cause she already looks it!

Same scenario-but these photos are for his eyes only!

These boudoir sessions are for all woman who want to give a little something something to their man for Valentine’s Day.

Gift certificates and Pricing for 2009

I hope everyone is having a great holiday season.

Just incase you are a late shopper and don’t know what to get your loved one, I have a solution for you! Why don’t you give them a JTG STUDIO gift certificate for a portrait session or print credit if they already had their session. This would help them buy something they really want!! I’m sure they would just love it.

These are great for everyone! So give me a call and we can set you up with a gift certificate!

Another reminder that wedding collections will change starting January 2009. If you already booked your day, don’t worry your pricing will not increase. New pricing will be implemented with new clients. To take advantage of the 2008 wedding collections you must sign a contract and pay the retainer for your day before the new year. All pricing and packaging is subject to change with out notice.

Now enough about pricing, I’m going to brave the crowd and head to the stores for some last minute shopping.

The kids are out on vacation and the stores are full of people. That must mean vacation time!!

Just to let you know I will be on vacation beginning today until January 5!! I’m excited to enjoy being with family and celebrating the reason for the season. You can email me or call and leave a message. I understand that everyone will be celebrating, but if you have a question email would be a better way to get in touch with me.

My vacation will be during the week because I will be working on my last wedding of 2008 next Saturday with Gloria and Elihu and then my first wedding of 2009 with Courtney and Jake. I know both will be fantastic and what a good way to ring in the new year!!

Houston Engagement Photographer: Kristen and Matt

When Alison told me she had referred her friend to me I was so happy. What better compliment then to refer me to anyone getting married or needing portraits.

One day while I was out browsing at Half Price Bookstore I answered my phone and it was Kristen wanting to set up a date to shoot her engagement photos. :)

Once we got to talking, set up her appointment and became friends on facebook, I learned we had lots in common. I knew she was cool when I saw we shared a birthday!! Sagittarius rock!!

Although I’m not available to shoot their Kentucky wedding in May, I’m so glad we were able to get some great engagement photos. Thank you Kristen and Matt for being such troopers and following my lead on things. It’s worth it, huh?!
