[W] News #23

No gossip girl this week means no TV for me. Seriously, I just don’t watch TV.

Valentine’s Day is around the corner and I have nothing. I few ideas in my head, but I have bought nothing. I usually make this one, but his room is full of stuff on the walls that I have to find something else to give him. Any thoughts??

I leave for Vegas in Sunday morning…not excited that I have to be on the plane at 7 a.m……why did I book it so early…geesh.

I am thrilled about everything I’ll learn, helping Jessica Claire at the Shootsac booth and a very cool night shoot I will be doing with Scarlett Lillian.

—

Right after I come back from Vegas I have a real special wedding that I can’t wait to shoot and share on here.

Plus I’m working on a special project to go along with it!

I hope to blog about some products I will be receiving in the mail on Friday. I already have a few but I want to share the new ones so there.

I probably won’t be blogging a [W] news next week since I will be flying back home from Vegas, but I promise to blog when I get back and show you tons of photos!!

Houston Engagement Photographer: Pam and Brian

WHOOP! This lovely couple meet at Texas A&M during their undergrad and started dating soon after. Now relocated to Houston where they are both working, they are planning a fall wedding in the Valley where Pam is from.

Lonely Boy wasn’t so lonely this past episode of Gossip Girl. I am still in shock of what I was watching.

I guess the little teacher from Iowa wasn’t so innocent.

So excited about WPPI. I’ll be there from February 15-18. Can’t wait to meet all the fabulous photographers and learn some new things.

To make it even more special, today marks the anniversary of when we bought Colt!

We bought him on Super Bowl Sunday two years ago. That year was the Colt’s vs the Bears. Seeing how is jumped like a horse and he wasn’t big enough like his brother to be considered a bear, we named him Colt. I always tell my dad that Colt was the best present we ever bought him.

Houston Engagement Photographer: Emily and Adam

February 2, 2009 – 10:01 pm

This engagement session was easy as 1,2 and 3. I say that because Adam contacted me after finding me on google, keyword-Houston Engagement Photographer! Bingo that’s me! In a matter of minutes, yes minutes I had answered his email and we had set a date right after the new year. So yes E+A were my first engagement session of the year and a super one if I do say so myself!

After exchanging a few emails going back and forth about the details, Adam sent a couple of photos of them. That was very nice and helpful so I could put a face to their names and not go wandering downtown asking people are you Adam and Emily…kidding, just kidding.

All jokes aside, these two share a great love that was developed over years of teaching through the Teach for America program. Although they will be getting married in Emily’s hometown of Chicago in August, I was honored to have captured these sweet memories for them!

Just incase you ever doubted I was funny….E+A can prove that I am.
