Playa del Carmen, Mx Engagement Photographer: Simon and Erika

Earlier this month I was in beautiful Cozumel, Mexico for a wedding. When Simon and Erika found out they decided to fly out for a destination engagement shoot. I was so excited!!

They will be getting married next month in Monterrey, Mexico.

Here are some of my favorites.

Alpha Kappa Camera

Hey internet people!! I am in Charleston, South Carolina with 8 amazing photographers. I had met some of these girls at WPPI last February, but others I just met today. Which is crazy yet fun because we are all like best friends already.

Here is a map Cristi made.

For the rest of the week we will be relaxing by the beach and talking shop. Learning from each other and just having a great time.

Here is a list of the other girls here.

Trina from Utah, Cristi from Arizona, Kara from Michigan, Sam from Maine, Shea from Tenessee, Lee Ann from North Carolina,Amelia from Alabama, and Lisette from Georgia.

Houston Bridal Photographer: Jessica

I’ve been wanting to share these bridal portraits for some time now, but because the wedding hadn’t passed I was keeping them to myself.

Jessica and Dru married two weeks ago tomorrow and the time just flew by that I’m now getting around to posting some of her portraits. :)

We shot on location at the Houston Rose Garden by the Museum of Natural Science.   We were blessed with gorgeous lighting and a breeze.

Here are some of my favorites!

Miracles

On Monday I embarked on a new adventure. I’ve heard stories about this great miracle and I witnessed three of them while I was in high school in the HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) program. Not only did I witness, but I was able to document the entire story. Here is one that caught my eye from the moment I pressed the shutter. It’s so simple, yet it speaks so much.

The soon-to-be father before he goes into the surgery room, minutes before the baby is born. A point and shoot camera by his side while he takes a few moments to put on his mask.

I wonder what his thoughts were at that moment.
