6 months

Yesterday Pepe and I  made our annual trip to the Texas Renaissance Festival. You can read about last year’s here.  We walked around, browsed the shops, ate way to much and simply enjoyed our time with one another. We saw skits we see every year and laughed at the same jokes. I smile when I hear his laugh, it’s contagious and it makes me happy.

As we were eating I remember thinking how simple life was at that moment, yet perfect. There was nothing fancy about our outing. We weren’t dressed up, just our usual jeans and a t-shirt. I loved life at that moment. I was with my love and at that moment all was still and quiet.

Today marks the 6-month anniversary of our engagement and we have been dating for 6.5 years!! I love this man.

I can’t wait to go back to the Ren Fest next year as Mrs. Lozano!

Friendswood Wedding Photography: Vanessa and Brian

The beautiful ceremony took place at the gazebo in Stevenson Park.  At first Vanessa and Brian had decided against a first look, but because of the fall hours and to fully take advantage of their photo experience they decided it was the best choice for them.

Of course as a photographer I was delighted that I had the opportunity to take such lovely photos of the bride and groom with the perfect amount of light. It was truly a blessing after having some rainy engagement sessions.

If you didn’t see part one, make sure to see it.

Instead of seeing each other for the first time with everybody looking at you during the ceremony, the first look is a more intimate alternative.

I love how they are admiring each other in this photo.
