Meet the newest member of my family. Miguel Angel was born exactly a month ago on July 18th. His mommy Cindy, my cousin and Miguel were very excited about his arrival.

When my sweet friend and client Jennifer told me her and her husband were having a baby, I was thrilled. We have been friends since college and being able to capture all of their most important moments has been such an amazing gift. I’ve photographer their wedding, maternity session, Sergito’s baptism and now his debut as a walking machine. He loves to explore and letting me free at Discovery Green was a blast to photograph and watch.

Thank you Jen and Sergio for welcoming me into your family and allowing me to be so close to Sergito!

I love when my clients call me back after the wedding for more photos, especially when there are little ones involved. I photographed Jaime and Adriana’s wedding in June of 2008 in Monterrey, Mexico. It was a beautiful wedding full of love and laughter. When these two are together you know you’ll be laughing. Not to long after the wedding they found out they were pregnant with this lil guy, Jaime Adrian!!

Here is the little miracle that I witnessed a couple of weeks ago. Actually she’ll be one month in a couple of days.

I don’t usually do indoor portraits with lighting, but mom (a photographer) wanted these so I happily obliged.

In daddy’s hands.

Then we did some natural lighting portraits.

Earlier this week I had the privilege to photograph this amazing woman. Bernice works at the same company as Pepe. After having met her at last year’s Christmas party we had been talking about a portrait session for her. It finally happened and I am so happy with they way they turned out. She had told me she wanted to do them in her garden and I thought that was a good idea to keep it real. I think I captured her doing what she loves-gardening, loving on her pups Maggie and Max and just sitting in the garden enjoying life.

The day I got home from the MJ2Day workshop in Arizona, it felt like I literally stepped of the plane and headed towards a portrait session.

Victoria’s Sweet 16 birthday celebration was that weekend and because the dress hadn’t come in we weren’t able to take the photos before.

It worked out wonderfully and the prints came in at the knick of time.

When I first received Rachael’s email about wanting to take some photos of her 2-year old, I was excited for many reasons. One, I hadn’t seen Rachael since we graduated from high school (Sam Rayburn class of 2003) and two, she had a 2-year old.

Houston Senior Photographer: Paige

Hey there blog world. Today I spent the day cooking, practicing my domestic duties for my sweetie. Actually, it wasn’t so bad and I actually enjoy it. My favorite is italian cuisine and desserts. A little chocolate fondue was also on the menu. Yummy.

I was sad to see it end, but I still have to pack for my trip to Vegas and WPPI. Yes, I leave tomorrow and will be back mid week.

Seeing how today is Valentine’s Day I thought I would share what the greatest love off all is…
