When my sweet friend and client Jennifer told me her and her husband were having a baby, I was thrilled. We have been friends since college and being able to capture all of their most important moments has been such an amazing gift. I’ve photographer their wedding, maternity session, Sergito’s baptism and now his debut as a walking machine. He loves to explore and letting me free at Discovery Green was a blast to photograph and watch.

Thank you Jen and Sergio for welcoming me into your family and allowing me to be so close to Sergito!

Warehouse District Engagement Photography: Katya and Josh

As promised here is part two of Katya and Josh’s engagement session. We did the first part at Discovery Green and then moved along to Warehouse District. Yes, I love that combination!! Such a great couple to work, I’m super excited for their wedding.

And then on our way to eat breakfast I remembered this great graffiti wall and I knew Josh would love.

He loved it to say the least!! I love Katya and Josh!!!

Discovery Green Engagement Photography: Katya and Josh

I’m so excited to be a part of Katya and Josh’s wedding day. Not only are they are great couple, but they truly value their photography.

There wedding is going to be at Briscoe Manor in October 2010, but they are ahead of the game.

Katya and Josh were coming in for the weekend only so I asked them if we could do their engagement session early on a Sunday morning so the sun wouldn’t be so high. They didn’t even hesitate. It was perfect.

Here is the first part of their engagement session that took place at Discovery Green. Stay tuned for part two.

Discovery Green Engagement Photography: Sory and Oscar

Two weekends ago, I photographed Sory and Oscar’s engagement session in Downtown Houston. One of my favorite parks that they have now is Discovery Green. That is where our engagement session started. After a quick wardrobe change we continued the engagement session in the warehouse district. I like these locations because they are so close to one another yet they offer two different vibes to the photos.

Sory and Oscar will be getting married in Novemeber at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and then the reception will be at Herrera’s Event Hall.

Meet Laura and Juan!! Laura is Jennifer’s sister-in law.

They celebrated their one year wedding anniversary and wanted
some super fun and ‘real’ photos of themselves. We got some!!!

I felt like I’ve known them forever and we were cracking jokes early on a Sunday morning.
