These lovely love birds were so easy to photography. Michelle and Budd are clearly in love and so comfortable with each other. Their session took place in downtown Houston and the other half in the Warehouse District. The lighting in the later part of the session was my favorite. I’m always looking out for that yummy light.

As sweet as can be, Jennifer and Matthew will be trying the knot in July and I am so excited to document their day at Tad Akers.

If you find yourself young (and even young at heart) and in love, I think it would look something like this. One of my favorites from a recent engagement session at Discovery Green. I always find new places to shoot there and the sun is always so kind to come out for me.

Houston Engagement Photography: Lindsay and Lonnie

I smiled when I saw Lindsay + Lonnie=Love as one of the comments on the sneak peek post because it is true. They are so in love. You can tell by the way they look at each other and just smile.

We did half of the session at a park in Bellaire and then the other half at a bowling alley called Palace Lanes. Lonnie bowls at least once a week, so we incorporated into our session. Plus they were such good sports by obliging to do the session very early in the morning for the best possible lighting!

They are planning a beautiful wedding in May at Ashelynn Manor. Can’t wait for their big day!!

Houston Portrait Photography: Orlando and Brenda

I love when clients love my work so much they tell all their friends about the great experience they had with me. Through mutual friends I met Orlando and he explained to me the idea he had to propose to his girlfriend Brenda on her birthday. This definitely hit home as it was the same way Pepe proposed to me on our anniversary.

She had no idea it was coming and it was a very emotional surprise! Here are a few favorites of the session we did at Cielito Ranch in Pattison, Texas.

Congratulations again Orlando and Brenda!! Let the wedding planning begin!

Houston Engagement Photography: Christa and Roy

Christa and Roy win the award for braving the coldest day of January. Man it was cold. I was wearing my red wool coat with scarves and my dad’s driving mittens that I found in his truck. They kept my fingers warm while I clicked away and took these shoots of the two lovebirds.

They are getting married in March and I’m so excited to shoot their wedding. First wedding of 2010!

Here are a few shots we took in Downtown Houston by Minute Maid Stadium.

I told them to bring it in real nice and tight, it also helped keep them warm.

One of my favorite from their session. I love their expressions.

Roy is a firefighter and an EMT so we headed back to his station and took a couple of pics there. He represents STATION 9!

This one is so sweet!

Thanks to Christa and Roy for being such troopers in the cold and not complaining. It sure was worth it!

Warehouse District Engagement Photography: Katya and Josh

As promised here is part two of Katya and Josh’s engagement session. We did the first part at Discovery Green and then moved along to Warehouse District. Yes, I love that combination!! Such a great couple to work, I’m super excited for their wedding.

And then on our way to eat breakfast I remembered this great graffiti wall and I knew Josh would love.

He loved it to say the least!! I love Katya and Josh!!!

Discovery Green Engagement Photography: Katya and Josh

I’m so excited to be a part of Katya and Josh’s wedding day. Not only are they are great couple, but they truly value their photography.

There wedding is going to be at Briscoe Manor in October 2010, but they are ahead of the game.

Katya and Josh were coming in for the weekend only so I asked them if we could do their engagement session early on a Sunday morning so the sun wouldn’t be so high. They didn’t even hesitate. It was perfect.

Here is the first part of their engagement session that took place at Discovery Green. Stay tuned for part two.
